How to tell people you're into understanding the meaning of existence...
Well, to start with, you can't.
In Nashville, as everywhere, the meaning of life is self-evident.
It is what you are told it is. Or it is what you make of it.
And you cobble together the pieces of what it is and what you think it should be.
